About Me
I am on my 3rd term as VFW Ladies Auxiliary President at Post 2714, Ft. Branch, IN. I joined the Ladies Auxiliary under my father, Paul Scoggins, Sr., who serverd during World War II. My father was one of many who helped build Post 2714. We even have pictures of him helping put on the roof. The gun case that he built to house the Post's riffles is still being used. I have many fond memories as a child coming out to the post for functions and watching both of my parents donate there time. I am sure that my father would be very proud to know that he has 5 daughters that belong to the Ladies Auxiliary and both of his sons are members of the Men's Auxiliary along with many other family members. I am very proud to be allowed to be a part of this organization and serve our veterans.

I am the ADJ at Post 1257 Martinsville , A life member , Been a member of many VFW's but found a home at 1257 5 years ago. I have had many jobs at the post I have been on the house comm, a trustee, Chaplain, Sr Vice and now Adj hoping to be the Post commander one day. Love helping out Veterans. |

Daughter of Betty and Bill Bain from Post 1257 Martinsville IN. My other half is Glen Bumpus also of Post 1257 Martinsville IN. I have two daughters, twins, born in 1980 and one son born in 1986. Currenly I have five grandchildren. For a living I have a coolest job of helping people and thier families avoid financial disaster by helping them achieve financial security:) Aux. Offices held: Trustee 2010 President 2009 President 2010 Secretary 2005-2009 (I think, lol) District Offices held: Flag Barrier 2010 Flag Barrier 2009 7th District Youth Activities Chairman 2010 I have enjoyed many wonderful years at Post 1257 and I have made many friends at the Post and also in District 7. I am looking forward to a Great Year with Jenny and I have a wonderful year in 2009 with Sharon. My biggest regret is not being active at the Post while my Mother, Betty Bain was alive. However I do cherish the fact that I can share it with my Dad, Bill Bain. The best thing that has ever happened to me at the Post is meeting The Most Truest Love of My Life, Glen Bumpus.
